Anthony Loke: Both Drugged Driver and Company Will Be Held Accountable
Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that the transport company involved in the recent truck crash in Pekan, Pahang, will face penalties along with the drug-impaired driver. The crash, which resulted in 4 injuries and 2 fatalities, underscored the need for strict enforcement. Loke reiterated the Transport Ministry’s zero-tolerance stance on drug-impaired driving and promised nationwide enforcement actions. He called on all heavy vehicle companies to ensure their drivers’ adherence to safety regulations.
